Born into the family of Pastor Lee B. Walker, Sr., Annette Gale-Price, the middle child of two sisters, Pastor Walker, matriculated through the Montgomery Public School system and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 2006. He decided to further his education at Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, Alabama, majoring in Music Education. He is currently enrolled at the United Theological Seminary, pursuing a Master of Theological Studies.
Pastor Walker married his Elementary School Sweetheart, Mrs. VaTedra Ashley Walker, in 2012. Together, they have two beautiful children, Kennedy and Lee III.
Throughout his career in Ministry, Pastor Walker has served in various leadership roles. He served as Minister of Music from 2008-2017, became an ordained deacon in 2013, and was licensed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 2015. He also served as Assistant Pastor at First Missionary Baptist Church in Whitehall, AL. On August 11, 2019, he was installed as the Pastor of New Home MBC in the Mt.Meigs community, where God has added some 500 plus souls to the ministry. The COVID-19 pandemic presented a series of challenges. As always, Pastor Walker rose to the occasion and launched Elevation Consulting LLC., The purpose of this consulting firm was to aid Pastors and their churches in this new season of ministry by providing them with the tools necessary to survive.
Also known for being a talented singer, Pastor Walker is the lead singer of the dynamic multi-genre gospel group Lee B. Walker Jr., and Elevation. He co-hosts the “Realist Radio Show in the Kingdom: Straight Church No Chaser on 96.5 FM” and is the Station Manager for Praise 96.5 FM, “the Inspiration Station.” Additionally, he serves on the Council of Young Pastors’ Division for Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, is a member of the Ambassadors Assembly under the tutelage of Dr. E. Dewey Smith, a graduate of the James W. Wright Leadership Development Institute, and a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.
When Pastor Walker is not serving others, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing word games that challenge his thinking, and playing golf.
While God has blessed him with many gifts, none are more meaningful and fulfilling to him than the calling to preach and teach the Word of God. Above all, Pastor Lee B. Walker Jr. seeks to Encourage, Educate, Elevate, and Emulate Jesus Christ!
